Northern Michigan Foundation is a rural-relending fund established partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). We are a non-bank financial institution designed to fill the financing gap between typical bank financing and the capital needs of Michigan businesses. The Foundation is financially strong, with investment capital under management of over $1,750,000 and is staffed by professionals with extensive business experience who understand the difficulties entrepreneurs face.
